Toothache and fever

The side effect of a wisdom tooth or gum diseases is toothache and the side effects of a toothache are many and one among them is fever. The following are some of the key facts relating to toothache and fever:

1. There are lots of doctors who vouch for the fact that toothache can actually cause fever. The abscesses tooth can be a major culprit in this regard.

2. One of the other major reasons for fever because of toothache is the proximity of the tooth to the sinus glands. As the sinus glands are one of the reasons for toothache in a person, fever is also caused due to toothache and sinus problems. As there are problems in the sinusitis, breathing becomes a problem for the person. As breathing becomes a problem, there are chances of the person catching cold and if the cold goes up to a certain level, then that can turn into fever and cause lots of other problems as well.

3. Fever due to toothache happens in only very few people or it affects only those people who have severe toothache. Minot toothaches cannot cause fever.

4. Fever is also caused in the person depending on how the person reacts to toothache. If the person is really terrified and finds it difficult to bear the pain, then that attitude or behaviour of the person itself can cause problem for the person and result in fever.

5. In case of fever due to toothache, it is better that the person cures the toothache rather than the fever because the root problem lies with the tooth.
